I started by doing some research on the lending landscape in Tanzania. I found that mobile lending can help to increase financial inclusion, improve financial literacy, and reduce poverty. Then i stumbled upon some eye-opening data which was very interesting from the 2020 Tanzania National Household Budget Survey and The 2021 Global Mobile Data Index.

To gain deeper insights into the needs and preferences of TANESCO employees regarding the loan application process, a comprehensive series of interviews and surveys were conducted. These qualitative and quantitative research methods provided valuable firsthand perspectives, contributing to the informed development and enhancement of the Loan Request App.
